Deviled Eggs are a classic appetizer in the menu. I remember learning about them during menu planning in my culinary school.
These never go out dated with new creative toppings and flavors added to the basic recipe. I love making them because it is a true crowd pleaser. Make sure you prepare more quantity than what you usually do, because these are going to disappear in no time ! The creamy egg yolk filling, with sour cream, cheese, mayonnaise and mustard is mixed with crispy bacon and herbs before filling the boiled egg whites. I love the fact that these appetizers are served chilled. It is fresh, bursts of flavor and the creaminess of the egg yolks and crispiness from the bacon work great for me.
