Cheese turkey recipe
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 C. grated cheese
1 C. garlic powder
2 c. dried minced onion
3/4 c. chopped pecans
Handful of melted chocolate
If you've never had a cheese ball, they're actually quite easy to make. Just keep in mind that you need to start working on it the day before your service.
Let the cream cheese sit for about an hour before you start. Place the softened cream cheese, grated cheese, garlic powder and chopped onion in a small bowl.
Wash your hands well and then mix the cream cheese and the grated cheese with your hands. You can use a food processor, but it's much easier to do it with your hands.
Form the cheese mixture in the form of a small ball and wrap with waxed paper or plastic wrap. Let sit in the refrigerator overnight to harden.
