Growing up, my mom always made pork chops because it was my father's favorite dinner. I must have inherited her love for this tasty pork cut because I love to cook pork chops for my family.

We have pork chops at least once a week. There are so many ways to prepare them!

My husband suggested that we have this recipe for Thanksgiving.

After taking a bite of these slow cooker pork chops, you will understand what I mean.

How to make boneless pork chops in a slow cooker

My easy-to-prepare pork chops are really a slow cooker meal to prepare and forget.

Here are the ingredients you'll need to make these delicious smothered pork chops.

4-6 pork chops, with or without bone (I used New York pork chops)
1 (10 ½ oz can) chicken cream
1 (10 ½ oz can) mushroom cream
1 cup chicken broth
1 sachet of onion soup mix
½ teaspoon black pepper

As I mentioned above, I like to use boneless pork chops when I prepare this dish.

The good news is that you can use your family's favorite pork chops. The bone-in pork chops are good too!

Soups really add a lot of flavor to this dish during cooking.

One of my favorite things about this pot pork chop recipe is the delicious sauce it creates.

I always like to make mashed potatoes and vegetables to accompany this dish. The cookies are also wonderful dipped in this delicious sauce.

It's the perfect meal to start with before heading out to church on Sunday morning!
