I l & # 39; Love holidays. I love the time with my family, the food, the music and the joy of giving to the people I love.
One of my favorite gifts to give while on vacation is the Gift Card Mall gift cards. Whether I browse the Gift Card Mall display in our local grocery store or pick up cards on GiftCardMall.com, I like to know that I am putting the power of selection in the hands of the recipient.
That said, I also like to dress up the gift cards to make them even more special and unique. One of the ways I'm doing it this season is with this fun sugarcane gift card holder!
I have seen these adorable sugar cane sleds on the Internet for a few years. I don't know who it was originally, but they deserve a medal because how cute are they?
I decided to take this idea to the next level by using my candy cane sled as a unique gift card holder. A gift card will slide perfectly in front of the sleigh, making it more than just a stack of candy. Your gift card will be #WrappedInStyle and ready to be placed under the tree on Christmas morning.
This DIY sugar cane sleigh is also super easy to make and I love it.
Full instructions and list of materials can be found below, but you just need two candy canes, a few candy bars, a glue gun and a ribbon to make a really cute gift.
You just start by hot gluing two candy canes onto a regular size KitKat candy bar.
Then, you will make a little overlay with mini chocolate bars.
Wrap it all up with curling tape, like a gift.
And garnish it with a pretty bow.
Of course, the best part of this DIY is the gift card! Choose your favorite gift card from Gift Card Mall.
I chose a Lowe card and plan to give this sweet little sleigh to my husband for Christmas this year. He's the ultimate man, and he can still spend money at Lowe. Some of my other choices of favorite gift cards from Gift Card Mall include: Kohls, Best Buy, Sephora, Sears, Amazon and Nordstrom. You can even personalize your gift card when you upload your own images to create Visa gift cards at the Gift Card Mall online!
This is just one way to wrap your gift cards in style this holiday season. There are really so many ways to add a personal touch to gift cards, and of course you can always include one in a special card with a heart note.

1 full-size KitKat bar
2 candy canes
12 miniature chocolate bars
hot glue gun
gift card (optional, in a cardboard case)
Using a hot glue gun, attach the candy canes one at a time to the bottom of the KitKat bar.
Attach miniature candy bars using a small drop of hot glue at each end of the bar. Start with 4 bars on the bottom row, 2 rows of 3 and 1 row of 2 on the top, towards the back of the sled.
Add the curling ribbon as you would wrap a gift. Cross the ribbon on top, turn the sled over and intertwine, then turn over and tie a knot or bow. Wrap the ribbon, add a bow on top. Place the gift card in front of the sled, it will rest well by leaning in the sled and under the turns of the sugarcane.
