Question: A dark green shirt has faded on my boys' new light green dress shirts that they had only worn once. I only found out after drying them in the dryer.

Is there a way to remove the dark green? They need the shirts and I don't want to dye them. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Our favorite tip: there is a Carbona product called Color Run Remover. I have succeeded even using it on sets of colors that have been washed and dried several times.
Tip # 2: Use powdered bleach with your detergent, mix the light green shirts with lukewarm water, wash as usual. It should take any excess color from the light green shirts without any damage… Marie
Tip # 3: It happened to me with white t-shirts and dark blue shirts. I got rid of the discoloration by soaking the shirts in the hottest water the shirts could stand and dissolving 1/4 cup of cascading dishwasher detergent (powder) in each gallon of water water needed to cover items.
Let it soak overnight and in the morning, drain the water and let them go through the regular cycle of the washer. If this doesn't remove all of the stains, you may need to soak them again. Sometimes I had to dip them 3 or 4 times, but it works … Marsha
