Summer is a great season because of fruits I love. Peaches are one of them. The farmer’s market would sell different varieties and it is a treat to the eyes.

One of the best ways to make use of these beauties are making the famous Peach Cobbler. I decided to name this recipe Georgia peach cobbler as Georgia is popular for its peaches. I have made Cobblers many times, but the ones with peaches are always special. My children love it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and it is a perfect summer treat. Needless to say, a few basic ingredients from your kitchen pantry along with this pretty fruit can turn your kitchen so beautifully aromatic. The butter along with sugar and flour melts and combines with the peaches in the oven, and trust me, it is mesmerizing. The only effort you need to put in is for peeling the peaches. Even that could be done in no time if you blanch them in warm water and immediately shock them in cold water. The skin would peel off easily. So make this marvelous dessert soon and you would thank me for it.

Peach cobbler a la mode soooo good, and that cool and creamy vanilla slowly melting over the top…mouth watering and wonderful. Summer fruits are good on their own, but why not sweeten them up a bit – a cobbler is just the place to do it!
