It's pretty satisfying to make your own homemade sauces and mixes. It's amazing how much money we spend on store-bought sauces, without realizing that we can often make the same sauces at home with ingredients that we probably already have on hand.

This teriyaki sauce has a lot of flavor and is really easy to prepare. You can literally do it and on the table in less than 10 minutes.
Teriyaki sauce recipe
2 tablespoons. honey
1/4 tsp. soya sauce
1 C. l & # 39; water
4 tablespoons. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. minced ginger
1/2 tsp. chopped garlic
2 tablespoons. cornstarch
In a medium saucepan, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, 3/4 cup of water, brown sugar, chopped garlic and chopped ginger. Stir over medium heat until the brown sugar dissolves.
In a small bowl, combine the cornstarch and 1/4 cup of water. Slowly mix the cornstarch mixture into the soy sauce mixture in the pan. The mixture will thicken quickly.
If the mixture is too thick, add a little water until the desired consistency. The teriyaki sauce is ready to serve immediately, refrigerate the leftovers.
