Cleaning is a chore that most people don't like. I know not! I never realized that different types of mops are recommended for different types of floors. If you are cleaning a tile, there are a few things to keep in mind.
If you have a sponge mop, this is not the best mop to use on a tile. Sponge mops will only move dirt on the floor and won't pick up dirt very well. For tiled floors, you want to use a microfiber mop.

Tips for cleaning tiled floors
Vacuum or sweep the tiles first to remove excess debris.
Then fill a bucket with lukewarm water and add about 1/2 cup of white vinegar.
Place the mop in the vinegar and water mixture and then wring out carefully. Start the mop by rinsing the mop from time to time. When the water becomes really cloudy, replace the water and vinegar mixture and repeat until the soil is clean.
Let the soil air dry.
