If you are looking for a fun and easy treat for Easter, try this candy cookie bark. I first saw this idea of rabbit cookie bark. This recipe is similar to the recipes you will see for bark that you can make for almost any occasion. You will see a lot of recipes for similar treats at Christmas time.

I thought this Easter bark was really colorful, so I decided to try it out using candy instead of M&M. You can use any type of Easter candy that your family likes.
Here's what you need:
1 lb white almond bark *
12 Oreo vanilla cookies
1 cup of Easter candy of your choice
* If you don't like the taste of almond bark, try using a mixture of almond bark and white chocolate chips. Measurements do not need to be exact. Maybe use 1/3 of white chocolate chips and 2/3 of almond bark. You can only use white chocolate chips, but when melted, they do not spread like almond bark.
Some recipes require a teaspoon or more of shortening to improve the consistency of melted white chocolate. If you are just using almond bark, this is not necessary. I'll try a mix of the two next time for a more chocolatey flavor.
