Mostly families use outdated recipes of Meatloaf since they are traditionally passed down from generations. My paternal grandmother used to make meatloaves during family get together. Eventually I got bored with it as a kid. It’s similar to getting bored with usual home food made by mom, but I realized the value when I left home for higher studies. I miss my grandmother’s cooking since she passed away a few years back. Got the recipe from my mother and tweaked it a little to get the final result.
This is a very simple recipe, not many ingredients, but ensure you use good quality ground beef. That makes the difference from good to great. The addition of brown sugar gives an amazing flavor to this dish. Topping added in between baking seeps into the loaf and makes it more flavorful.
